Scottish bands and singers who rocked festival

- BY JENNIFER HYLAND

GLASTONBURY organisers have released this year's full line-up.. with some legendary Scots included.

Sir Rod Stewart, Biffy Clyro and Franz Ferdinand will be among the stars performing at the festival of music at the end of this month. Scots have always managed to find a home on Glasto's stages, turning in many memorable performances.

Here are 10 of the best from the festival's history...

THE PROCLAIMERS, 1987THERE may have been Sunshine on Leith when the twins made their debut in 4C temperatures. Craig recalled: "That was the biggest stage we'd played. But we were 25 then and you know no fear at that age."They have been regular returnees since.

THE WATERBOYS, 1984MIKE Scott and his Edinburgh group cemented their status with this debut. One year later, they would record The Glastonbury Song, with the lyrics "There is a green hill far away, I'm going back there one fine day."
