Dons will be ready for a final punch says Thelin

JIMMY THELIN says his hurting Aberdeen players need to pick themselves up off the canvas and see if they can land one final knockout blow in the Scottish Cup Final.

After the Dons lost 2-1 at Tannadice and saw Dundee United claim fourth spot from them they have now lost their last four games on the bounce.

Celtic are up next at Hampden on Saturday and Thelin said: “It's the last game of the season, it's a huge game.

“Everyone is really disappointed just now, but we had 52 games in front of us, and we've played 51. We've missed one final.
