Martindale hails the bottle of his Livi battlers as they nick a late point

DAVID MARTINDALE hailed last-gasp Livi as they left it late to grab an equaliser for the second week in a row.

After rescuing a point at the death against Hibs last week, Danny Wilson's late leveller cancelled out Brian Grahams penalty opener for Falkirk.

Boss Martindale believes his Lions are showing all the spirit required to drag themselves off the foot of the table.

He said: “I think there is resilience there. The team spirit is there, character is there.

“T think it shows big balls, they deserve a lot of credit.

“A point is probably the minimum we deserved.”

It was an open contest early on with both teams having their moments to shine.

Stevie May was first to test Bairns keeper Scott Bain with a low shot which the Scotland squad man gathered with ease.
