Citizens Development Business Finance PLC (CDB) has posted its strongest financial results to date, emerging as a key player in Sri Lanka's economic recovery.

For the financial year 2024/25, the company reported a 59% surge in profit after tax to Rs. 4 billion, with profit before tax rising 72% to Rs. 7.9 billion. Total revenue surpassed Rs. 25 billion, while CDB contributed Rs. 3.9 billion in direct taxes to state coffers.
