Unabomber terrorist Kaczynski dies aged 81

TED KACZYNSKI, the so-called Unabomber who terrorised the US with a violent 17-year campaign which killed three people, has died in prison aged 81.
In a spate of attacks that lasted from 1978 to 1995, he injured 23 others, with victims many maimed for life.
The Harvard-educated maths professor even threatened to bring down airliners as he evaded capture.
His vanity led to his downfall when family members recognised his rantings.
Kaczynski went on to plead guilty to escape the death penalty - but was given life without parole in 1996.
A spokesperson for the Bureau of Prisons said Kaczynski was found dead around 8am yesterday at the Federal Medical Center in North Butner, Carolina.
