UK's key role once Ukraine war ends

BRITAIN will soon lead backroom talks on how to arm Ukraine once hostilities with Russia come to an end, sources say.
UK military chiefs and officials, along with those from France, Australia and other Nato partners, will thrash out behind closed doors what President Volodymyr Zelensky needs to defend his nation from further aggression.
It comes amid fears Russian despot Vladimir Putin will use any ceasefire brokered by US President Donald Trump in the coming months to re-equip and strengthen his battered forces, before attempting a third invasion of its neighbour.
UK military chiefs specialising in areas of land defence and small arms combat will gather at next month's Future Solid Technology 2025 conference in London.
