Trump jibe at Kamala before live TV debate

DONALD Trump has mocked Kamala Harris for taking three days to prepare for their live TV debate, by declaring: “Everyone has a plan... until they get punched in the face.”

Mr Trump was quoting boxer Mike Tyson to pour scorn on his rival for the presidency, after learning she set up a “Debate Camp” this weekend at a hotel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Ahead of Tuesday’s debate, US Vice President Harris is spending hours being peppered with tough questions by campaign aides to ensure she is ready for their first ever face-to-face showdown.

It is expected to be watched by tens of millions of Americans on the Disney-owned ABC network.

After using the quote, former president Mr Trump added in a Fox TV interview: “You can go in with all the strategy you want, but you have to sort of feel it out as the debate’s taking place.”
