Sophie at sixty...
Sunday Express
|January 19, 2025
A NEW photo of the Duchess of Edinburgh has been released to celebrate her 60th birthday tomorrow. Sophie looks relaxed as she sits with crossed legs in a bay window at her home in Bagshot Park in Surrey. Wearing a black roll-neck jumper, pleated white chiffon skirt and nude pumps, the Duchess is laughing as she looks away from the camera.
Photographer Christina Ebenezer took the image this month and perfectly captures the senior royal's effortless charm.
Sophie personally chose the London-based portrait, fashion and commercial photographer to do the shoot, as she is interested in her creative style and wanted to support a rising female star.
As the Duchess looks ahead to turning 60, she has a renewed sense of excitement and commitment to her work around gender equality and is looking forward to further embracing and championing the issue in the future.
The senior royal is understood to have plans to celebrate her milestone birthday at home with husband Prince Edward. Dit verhaal komt uit de January 19, 2025-editie van Sunday Express.
