Kennedy: Now Slot must go up a level

IVERPOOL legend Alan Kennedy is convinced the Premier League champions will have to “step up a gear” if they are going to defend their title this season.
Five-time league champion and double European Cup winner Kennedy revealed he is willing the club on to even more memorable triumphs this term.
But the Anfield great, 70, warned that title rivals Manchester City and Arsenal will be trying harder than ever to grab the Premier League crown.
"They're a great side and hard to beat," said Kennedy (below).
"Being hard to beat is really important, that was the key to Liverpool’s success when I played. We were very hard to beat.
"Sometimes you have to start from the back - and you have to have the right type of players.
"They've got a very, very solid back four and they’ve also got a top keeper behind them, which really helps.
