'Cunning plan' works for Tony

SIR Tony Robinson has said his iconic role as Baldrick has allowed him to explore his passions on TV.
The actor played the much loved hapless character in Blackadder in the 1980s and 90s alongside Rowan Atkinson.
He is now as well known for presenting factual shows like Time Team, Walking Through History, and his new series on Yesterday, Tony Robinson's Marvellous Machines, which starts on Tuesday.
But the 77-year-old says he is grateful for the hit BBC historical sitcom in which Baldrick would regularly have "a cunning plan".
"Blackadder has given me this wonderful career.
