FANS of the Duchess of Sussex's As Ever brand have bestowed a new title on her - Lady Marmalade.
Sweet treat was a seasonal promotion by As Ever
Meghan earned the nickname after giving away thousands of jars of her pricey breakfast treat to customers who spent more than $70 - about £52 - on her site over the festive period.
Her first-ever seasonal promotion, which included free shipping, has helped to "enormously" boost profits for her gourmet food company during the holiday break, a senior source with commercial ties to As Ever revealed.
Normally, Meghan's firm charges $12 - roughly £9 - for a 215g glass pot of As Ever's Orange Marmalade, making it way more expensive than the cost of a jar of Monarch Marmalade from upper-crust London store Fortnum & Mason.
