Builder's yard on battle site agreed

A builder's yard created on green belt land in Whins of Milton has been granted retrospective planning permission.

The application by Mr and Mrs Alan Harris for a change of use, including levelling works and fencing/gates at the site east of 85 Balfour Street, has been conditionally approved by Stirling Council planners.
The planners said the site was a vacant area of green belt land which had vegetation/scrub growth.
They added: “Works have already taken place to level and landscape the site, forming a gravel hard surface and erecting a two metre high fence around the perimeter of the site.
