The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Institute of Medical Excellence (SMVDIME), in collaboration with the Jammu Obstetrics & Gynaecological Society (JOGS) and the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, proudly hosted JANAN 2025 - The Operative Obstetrics Congress from July 12-13, 2025, at the Sanjeevani Auditorium, SMVD Narayana Superspeciality Hospital Complex, Kakryal.

This two-day national congress was dedicated to advancing operative obstetric techniques and promoting excellence in women's healtheare. The event brought together over 150 delegates from across the country, including leading gynecologists, healthcare professionals, senior faculty members, and postgraduate students.
The congress was formally inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. Ashok Bhan, IPS (Retd.), Member, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), along with the Guest of Honour Anshul Garg, CEO, SMVDSB, and Special Guest Alok Kumar Maurya, IFS, Additional CEO, SMVDSB.
The dignitaries lauded SMVDIME's remarkable progress as a growing centre of excellence, commending its commitment to delivering advanced, patient-centric care and high-quality academic training in the region.
