The monthly meeting of the Retirees Police League District Jammu was held today under the chairmanship of Karanjit Singh, President of the League. The meeting witnessed the participation of several distinguished retired police officers and focused on important issues concerning the welfare of ex-police veterans.

Deepak Singh Salathia, DIG (Retd), also attended the meeting and patiently listened to the concerns raised by the retired personnel. He assured the members that he would project these issues to the concerned authorities for appropriate redressal.
At the outset, the members unanimously condemned the "cowardly and brutal" killing of innocent tourists in Pahalgam by Pakistani terrorists, allegedly supported by the Pakistan army and ISI.
Floral tributes were paid to the departed souls as the gathering observed a moment of silence in their memory. Members strongly demanded stringent action against Pakistan and the perpetrators of terrorism.
