On International Yoga Day, Vadnagar, the historic town in Gujarat, entered the Guinness World Records for the “Most People Performing Cobra Pose (Bhujangasana)”.The mass yoga event was organized by the Gujarat Yog Board in association with the Ministry of Ayush.

Over 1,000 participants performed the Cobra Pose in unison at the scenic Tana-Riri Garden in Vadnagar. The performance adhered strictly to Guinness World Records guidelines, ensuring precision and synchronisation. Vadnagar, the birthplace of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, served as a symbolic venue for the record attempt.Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel and Minister of State for Home Shri Harsh Sanghavi joined the participants.
