Wales happy to get off the mark for Swans

BOBBY Wales admitted his first Swansea City goal was not the prettiest, but he'll gladly take it after helping his new club reach the second round of the Carabao Cup.

The striker netted the second goal in the 3-1 first-round victory over Crawley Town at the Swansea.com Stadium, sending the ball into the far corner of the net after the visitors had ben unable to clear a ball on the edge of their box.

It was not the cleanest of strikes, but Wales was in the right place at the right time to add to Ronald's early goal.
