SWELTERING conditions could not stop some high-quality action taking place in the Swansea Fish Bowling League.

The top match in the first division saw 2024 champions Dunvant Druids host inform Bonymaen, who had climbed to third in the table.
But it was the Druids who produced a fine all-round performance to triumph on all three rinks and win with a match score of 66-40 to take the points 11-1.
Rink scores: Paul Rees 17-12 Paul Brooks, Andrew Jones 22-13 Alan Slattery, Rob Richards 27-15 Dan Amos.
Another attractive match saw second-placed Victoria Saints take on a Jersey side who were lying fifth.
The Saints secured a comfortable 76-47 win to pick up nine points with three going to the visitors.
The Saints now lead the table by one point ahead of Sketty, but have played a game more.
Rink scores: Paul Morris 20-24, Rhodri Johnson, Mark Dunbar 20-10 Edward Johnson, John Higgins 36-13 Jonathan Keaveney.
