New centre is 'vital community resource'

A NEW community centre has been unveiled by Llanelli Town Council in the Bigyn ward.
The council's ruling Labour group says the much-needed facility at Penyfan Park will be available for hire and they hope it will help build social cohesion in the area.
The centre is designed to serve as a hub for various activities, including meetings, parties and educational courses, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among residents.
Council leader David Darkin said: "I am absolutely delighted that the Bigyn Community Centre is open for the people of Penyfan and the Bigyn ward."
