THE door is still ajar for Jac Morgan to force his way into the British and Irish Lions Test team as Andy Farrell promised his mind is open when it comes to selection for Saturday’s showdown in Melbourne.

The Wales captain starts in the back row for the Lions against the First Nations and Pasifika XV today at Marvel Stadium, having missed out on selection for the first Test victory in Brisbane.

Morgan, like many others, will be desperate to force his way into contention for Saturday's second Test at the MCG, with Farrell admitting the final midweek fixture of the tour provides players with a chance to earn a Test spot.

"This fixture gives players another opportunity to put their hand up for selection for the final two Tests," said head coach Farrell.

"The coaches’ minds are open when it comes to selection, they have to be with so many players performing and pushing for places and we want that to continue for the remaining two Tests.

"This group know the level of performance that we will require against a First Nations Pasifika team that is packed with talent and power."
