March from city to deliver plea for peace

DEMONSTRATORS marched from Swansea to Cardiff over the weekend where they called for peace in Gaza with chants and speeches on the Senedd steps.
Dozens joined the 'Gaza - Not in My Name' march which set off from Swansea Guildhall at 8am on Saturday and arrived in Cardiff Bay at around 2.30pm yesterday.
Chants of "free, free Palestine" were heard from the group, which included six Plaid Cymru candidates for Swansea West-Gower in next year’s Senedd elections: Gwyn Williams, Safa Elhassan, John Davies, Rhiannon Barrar, Dafydd Williams and Harri Roberts.
