Keeper calls on Swans to hit back quickly

LAWRENCE Vigouroux wants Swansea City to come out firing this week as they look to banish the memory of seeing a win slip through their fingers on Saturday.

Swansea were seconds away from their third win in four Championship matches, only to see visitors Hull City leave South Wales with a point following John Egan’s last-gasp equaliser.

Alan Sheehan's side had twice led in the encounter through Zan Vipotnik and Ronald, but ultimately had to settle for a draw.

They have the chance to put matters right in the next few days with two big clashes.

Tomorrow night Swansea host Premier League side Nottingham Forest (8pm) in the third round of the Carabao Cup, while they make the trip to Championship newcomers Birmingham City on Saturday lunchtime.
