Guest in fine form at Southwell

DAPPER Guest can extend his perfect record on the all weather to three with victory in the Bet £10 Get £40 With BetMGM Handicap at Southwell.

The three-year-old has seemingly found his niche on a synthetic surface, having registered one win in 10 outings on turf before George Margarson sent him to the Nottinghamshire venue in August.

Dapper Guest ran out a comfortable three-and-a-half-length winner on that occasion and while a subsequent 8lb rise looked too much back on the grass at Newmarket, his revised rating proved no such issue when returned to Southwell last time out.

Coming home three and three-quarter lengths clear in that seven-furlong event earlier this month, Dapper Guest seemed to have plenty in hand and while another 8lb hike makes life tougher, the Dandy Man gelding looks arunner on the up.
