ENGLAND manager Thomas Tuchel has admitted to being left feeling “a bit sad” despite his side beating Wales 3-0 at Wembley on Thursday night, as he called out the home fans after the match.

Tuchel 'sad' as England fans fail to raise the Wembley roof

The Three Lions boss watched his team comfortably see off Craig Bellamy’s side following an early blitz, with Morgan Rogers, Ollie Watkins and Bukayo Saka all finding the net inside the first 20 minutes. However, while it was a sixth win in his first seven matches in charge of England, Tuchel couldn’t hide his dismay after the final whistle.

While England may have been firmly in control on the pitch for much of the encounter, their supporters were out-sung by the travelling Wales support, as the 7,500 members of the Red Wall who made the journey to Wembley showing their class yet again.
