A WOMAN has been jailed just days before the festive period for stealing nearly £1,000 worth of beauty products.

Emma Faulkner, 48, of Wildmill, Bridgend, was sentenced to four weeks in prison at Cardiff Magistrates' Court on December 18 after pleading guilty to theft from a shop.
The court heard that on October 13, Faulkner was stopped by staff as she attempted to leave The Cosmetic Company store at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Bridgend.
The total value of the items taken was £927.50.
