Hola Soccer Laduma readers, It’s always a blessing to be able to connect with the Soccer Laduma family. It’s been a big week for football on the continent and even bigger for South African football. From my own travels to Botswana for the Clash of Legends, to watching the boys at the FIFA Club World Cup and seeing guys like Thembinkosi Lorch and Elias Mokwana flying the flag high, I just had to sit down and share some thoughts with you all.

Two players who deserve a big shoutout are Thembinkosi Lorch and Elias Mokwana. Yoh, these guys are showing up and showing off.

Lorch has been class at the FIFA Club World Cup with Wydad. That goal scored by Lorch against Juventus was something special. Right foot chip, composure, technique, that was pure Lorch. He reminded everyone just how good he is, especially when the lights are brightest. I’ve always believed in his talent. It’s just great to see him doing it on the world stage now.

Let's become role models

Agents are very tricky

One moment a player is on the radar of the country's biggest clubs, the next he is fighting quietly for visibility, fitness, and a second chance.
