SICELO HLATSHWAYO - UNATTACHED (PART 3)
Hola Sicelo, you're back for Part Three, which means you are enjoying this as much as we are, ha, ha, ha. You played at Jomo Cosmos, surely you have some memories from the time you spent there. Can you share them with us?
Thanks again for having me, my brother. Yes, I can remember some moments from my time at Jomo Cosmos with Bra J (Jomo Sono). He is a very nice coach. There is a guy called Mpho Rasilingwane. I don't think he is playing, but let me start from the beginning. So, in my first season at Cosmos, I was there with Nkanyiso Zungu because we grew up at AmaZulu FC development. When we got to Cosmos, they registered Zungu quickly and I was just training with the team without being officially registered. This was when Cosmos were playing in the National First Division and they had already qualified for the promotion Play-Offs. They were playing against Black Leopards in Thohoyandou. Remember, I was not registered, but Bra J said I should come to camp.
Interesting, why?
Well, I said to him, "Coach, I am not registered, why am I going with the team?" He was like, "I said you are coming to camp. Who said you are coming to play?"
Ha, ha, ha. That's classic Bra J... carry on.

Adams faces race against time
Jayden Adams' international future hangs in the balance, and the countdown has officially begun. With just one month remaining before Hugo Broos finalises his squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, the 24-year-old midfielder finds himself in a position few would have predicted two years ago. Once a rising star of Stellenbosch FC and a standout performer at the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast, Adams now faces the harsh reality of reduced game time at Mamelodi Sundowns and uncertainty around his Bafana Bafana role. The player who earned his way into Broos' plans through hard work and consistency has slipped into unfamiliar territory at club level, and his national team prospects have dimmed as a result. The Siya crew has been tracking his situation closely, uncovering worrying signs behind the scenes as Adams fights to keep his AFCON dream alive.
