WINNING DESIGN WILL BE USED FOR ARMED FORCES EVENTS

NORTH Kesteven District Council has launched an Armed Forces poster competition to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Bomber Command.
The competition is a call to all young artists, including painters, sketchers, and illustrators, under the age of 18 from across the district, including those who are home-educated.
The winning design will be used on all promotional materials for NKDC's Armed Forces events, and the winner will also receive a £25 national book token.
The competition is open until April 8, 2026. Entry forms are available to download from the NKDC's Armed Forces events webpage.
Council Leader Cllr Richard Wright said: "There's a huge amount of artistic talent in our area and children and teenagers are where that begins.
