But looking out at the crowds at these shows, you would be forgiven for thinking these were brand new bands, as many youngsters sing and dance alongside their parents to the music they listened to in their own youth.

It is a theme that Shed Seven frontman Rick Witter, whose career began in 1990 and are best-known for hits such as Going For Gold and Getting Better, recognises at his own gigs.
