Motorists fear an increase in cost of running a car

Three out of four motorists say they are worried the cost of running their car will rise during 2026.

The survey, by Startline Used Car Tracker, shows that 52% are concerned about the costs of insurance, 48% worry about petrol and diesel prices and 37% have concerns over servicing costs.
