Hebburn Town manager Daniel Moore admitted his side were 'not quite at it' during Saturday’s defeat at Northern Premier League Premier Division rivals Ilkeston Town.
Olly Martin's goal was not enough for Hebburn.
The Hornets ventured to the New Manor Ground knowing they would reclaim their place at the top of the division if they could avoid only their seventh defeat in 31 league games.
However, the hosts made a stronger start to the contest and got themselves in front on the quarter hour as Daniel Odunaiya found the net.
Olly Martin got Moore’s side back on level terms just before halftime before Odunaiya restored and extended Ilkeston’s lead.
