Howe says squad rotation will continue amid hectic schedule

Eddie Howe will continue to rotate his Newcastle United squad to ward against complacency and the relentless nature of the fixture schedule.
The Magpies are competing on four fronts this season - in the Premier and Champions Leagues, the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup, which they won in March with a 2-1 Wembley victory over Liverpool.
That means matches every three or four days between now and at least December, when the Champions League group stage ends.
Thereafter, if Newcastle qualify for the European knockout phase, similar demands could continue.
Howe had, prior to yesterday's league game against Arsenal at St James’ Park, only picked the same starting XI in successive games once so far - the first two of the campaign.
