Westoe Room duo Mark Harrison and Trevor Collins progressed to the finals of the South Shields FC Foundation-sponsored singles at Harton Welfare.

Fourteen of the 16 qualifiers entered a random draw, with Harrison and Jake Bell (Bridge) handed byes. The format was best-of-three legs of 501 for the round of 16 and quarterfinals, with best-of-five legs of 501 for the semis.
