Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Rayan Cherki picked up a knock during Manchester City's draw with Tottenham Hotspur and is regarded as a doubt to feature against Newcastle United.

Cherki, who opened the scoring for City at the weekend, played just-shy of 70 minutes before being withdrawn by Guardiola.
Cherki may be a doubt to feature tonight, but he has already stamped his mark on the tie having been the scorer of City's second goal at St James' Park in the first-leg in a 2-0 win.
