FURTHER to Liz Gandon's letter in your June 26 issue, regarding the proposed changes to our waste collection system, I have to say I totally agree with all she has to say on the matter!
I am a widow and live alone, and was instructed nine years ago following an operation that I should never lift or pull heavy weights again. Since then I have had weekly food deliveries. It would therefore not be possible for me to move wheelie bins up and down my very steep drive each week, and I will not take that risk.
