HE CARRIED OUT AN 'UNTIDY SEARCH' FOR MONEY AND VALUABLES, A COURT HEARD

- By MARK NAYLOR

AN argument with his stepson turned nasty soon afterwards when a man took his revenge by breaking into the stepson's home and "making a mess" during a desperate search for money and valuables.

Michael Forster carried out an "untidy search" of the other man's home but he was later identified as the culprit after telltale CCTV pictures showed him with a ladder near the property, a court heard.

Forster, 51, of Hibaldstow, admitted burglary, involving stealing jewellery, as well as possessing cocaine, having no insurance and having no driving licence on May 31.

Claire Holmes, prosecuting, told Hull Crown Court that the stepson and his partner left his home in Scunthorpe, to go to a gym.
