Drug farmer jumped from a window to evade police

167 CANNABIS PLANTS WORTH AROUND £130K FOUND IN RAID

POLICE discovered a cannabis farm in a two-storey home with 167 plants worth around £130,000.

A man leapt from a first-floor window to evade police officers, but was arrested on the lawn.

Elvis Nikolli, 21, formerly of Revesby Avenue, Scunthorpe, admitted producing cannabis when he appeared at Grimsby Crown Court.

Prosecuting, Howard Shaw told how Humberside Police carried out a search warrant at the home on Revesby Avenue, Scunthorpe, on March 6. He said there was a large-scale cannabis farm inside in a “professional operation,” with metal locked gates to each of the five rooms.
