266 homes proposal for Brigg withdrawn

BELLWAY HOMES HAS EXPLAINED WHY IT HAS WITHDRAWN ITS PROPOSAL

PROPOSALS for 266 homes in Brigg have been withdrawn.

Bellway Homes, along with Francis Colin Day, Richard John Day and Jalapeno Venture Limited, had applied for outline permission for the 266 homes on land north of Western Avenue and Wrawby Road, Brigg, and south of the M180.

It was to be the second phase of the Buttercross Meadows development - the first phase with 290 homes north of Wrawby Road got planning approval last year.

But the application has now been withdrawn. Contacted by Grimsby Live, Bellway has said the withdrawal is due to overlap with another application from a different developer.
