SCOTLAND'S Bruce Mouat and his team felt they proved a point after clinching an 11th Grand Slam title at the Tour Challenge in Nisku, Alberta.

Hammy McMillan, Bobby Lammie, Grant Hardie and Mouat won four of last season's five Grand Slams, including the Tour Challenge, but tasted a rare semifinal defeat at last month's Masters in Ontario.
