HOLLYWOOD superstar Harrison Ford has revealed that Glenmorangie whisky has been named as the official dram of Formula 1.

The Star Wars and Raiders Of The Lost Ark star is the global ambassador for the single malt and recently starred in a series of mini-films promoting the brand and all things Scottish.

Glenmorangie's appointment comes as F1 celebrates its 75th anniversary.

And yesterday, the Hollywood superstar needed just one word to announce the news is another short movie.

Ford, playing himself, looks at the camera and simply says: “Nice!” as he clutches a bottle of Glenmorangie in one hand and cradles a racing helmet in the other.

The collaboration comes days before the Briish Grand Prix is held this Sunday at Silverstone. Racegoers there have been invited to join in a series of special events staged at the Northamptonshire track.
