'Trans women can run marathon as females'

TRANSGENDER women will be allowed to participate in this weekend's London Marathon as females — despite the Supreme Court ruling on the definition of a woman.

Race director Hugh Brasher said people who take part on Sunday can self-identify as male, female or non-binary, regardless of birth sex.

The Supreme Court ruled last week a woman is legally defined by biological sex.
