The Willie Mullins-trained high achiever has seven wins and two places to his name from just nine starts over the bigger obstacles.
He heads to Berkshire on the back of a career best, a drubbing of 10-time topflight winner Jonbon in the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown.
The pair and Gidleigh Park might have to take a lead early on from Dan Skelton' runaway improver Thistle Ask, with a strong pace only benefitting Il Etait Temps.
