Most teams get a pass from fans if they draw... we can win and still be booed off
BRENDAN RODGERS allowed himself a moment last weekend to celebrate and savour Celtic getting over the Premiership finishing line.
The Celtic boss also allowed himself a chuckle at this notion the Hoops job is somehow a breeze.
Rodgers earned his moment of quiet satisfaction at another triumph because he reckons this is not the easiest job he’s ever had - it’s the toughest.
The Irishman and his squad might make it look a skoosh, but as he looked forward to the final Old Firm showdown of the season, he was adamant it’s anything but.
Rodgers said: "When you are in this run, this era that we're in in terms of winning, then it can be deemed as that or tedious and all the words that are used, but it’s absolutely not.
"I can tell you that from all the clubs I’ve ever been at, this is the biggest, pressurised job I’ve been in and that’s because you can’t afford to lose a game of football.
"Any team that’s out there, they’ll get a pass for a draw.
