Scotland ace urges Franco to keep faith

GLASGOW Warriors full-back Ollie Smith has urged head coach Franco Smith to honour the final year of his contract - and preferably beyond.

Speculation that the 52-year-old South African might move on has been rife since the URC semi-final loss to Leinster three weeks ago, when he gave an emotional post-match interview in which he suggested he was giving serious consideration to his future.

The ex-Italy boss, right, has been linked to the vacant Wales job, but Scotland star Smith is desperate for him to remain in position at Scotstoun.
