HERE’S a site for sore eyes — a stunning image of the Parthenon free from scaffold poles for the first time in 200 years.
The beautiful stone temple, in Athens, Greece, has been having conservation work for two centuries, but the latest scaffolding, put up about 20 years ago, has just been taken down.
