ST MIRREN manager Stephen Robinson is set to freshen up his team for their Ibrox trip after admitting their recent exertions likely caught up with some of his players in Saturday's goalless draw with Kilmarnock.

The Premier Sports Cup winners were looking for a fourth consecutive win but were held by a Killie side battling to get back to winning ways.

Robinson (above) could recall striker Mikael Mandron for the game against Rangers and captain Mark O'Hara could make his first start since the League Cup semifinal against Motherwell on November 1 after returning from a foot problem.

The Saints boss also has the likes of Jayden Richardson, Scott Tanser and Liam Donnelly pushing for starts.
