Richard's big break

RICHARD Madeley presented Good Morning Britain yesterday with his wrist in a cast after a double fracture.

As the show started, his ITV co-host Susanna Reid quizzed him on the injury, saying: “You better explain. You’ve come back into the studio... That looks sore.”

He joked: “I thought you were gonna say ‘Did I have a good break?’ It’s a double fracture of the wrist.

“I was walking quickly down a steep pavement in France on Friday and the pavement was loose, and it flipped up and it flipped me forward.
