..and he denies talks over Farage coalition

- By Martyn Brown

ROBERT Jenrick has insisted Tory leader Kemi Badenoch is doing “a bloody good job” — amid speculation he is plotting for the top job.

The Shadow Justice Secretary told her critics to “give her a break”.

He also denied wanting to form a coalition with Reform UK — emphasising his aim is to send its leader Nigel Farage “back to retirement”.

Mr Jenrick’s remarks come after he was recorded talking about the “nightmare scenario” of Labour winning the next election if Reform and the Tories were to split the vote.

He said: “I want the fight to be united...I'm determined to do that and bring this coalition together and make sure we unite as a nation.”
