KRIS DOOLAN will continue trying to get Kilmarnock playing with more freedom as he continues in his caretaker role ahead of Saturday's trip to St Mirren.
Doolan was about to land a role as the club's head of development and under-19s head coach when he was propelled into the first-team position after Stuart Kettlewell and assistant Stephen Frail were sacked.
The former Partick Thistle manager's first game ended in a 1-0 defeat to Falkirk, which made it 11 games without a win for Killie.
