New appeal for help to name body in wetsuit

BAFFLED police are still trying to identify a dead man found wearing a wetsuit in a reservoir a year ago.

Detectives are also trying to work out how he died and how he had got to the remote beauty spot in Wales.

The male, who was 6ft tall and aged between 30 and 60, was discovered in Claerwen Reservoir in Elan Valley, Powys.

But there were no clothes on the shore, no bike, car or mode of transport to get there.

The primary clue in the investiga tion is the extra large Zone 3 Agile wetsuit he was wearing.

Police estimate his body had been in the water for 12 weeks before it was found on October 18.
