Murder police hunt grandson as tributes pour in for lollipop lady

Public warned not to approach suspect

THE hunt for the “dangerous” grandson wanted in connection with the murder of a former lollipop lady has entered its fourth day.

Despite a widescale manhunt there have not been sightings of Grant McKinnon since the body of his grandmother Elizabeth Colligan was discovered in the early hours of last Saturday.

The 82-year-old was found on a street in Glasgow's East End.

Within hours, Police Scotland took the highlyunusual decision to release both McKinnon's name and a photo of the man they want to speak with about the killing.

It is understood he had lived with her for a time at her home in the city's Carntyne district.

Members of the public have been warned not to approach the 30-year-old but instead to call police immediately if he is spotted.
